Job Title: Junior Product Photographer

Overview:
Steve Madden is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Photographer to join our in-house creative team. This role is ideal for someone who tpives in a fast-paced studio environment and has a passion for fashion-focused product photography. You will photograph a range of products including footwear, handbags, and accessories for multiple brands under the Steve Madden portfolio, such as Steve Madden, Madden Girl, Betsey Johnson, Blondo, and Anne Klein. Occasional support for lifestyle or event photography may be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture high-quality product photography for use across e-commerce, marketing, and editorial platforms.

• Ensure brand consistency and maintain technical excellence across all imagery and platforms.

• Collaborate with stylists and art directors to set up and style product shots.

• Assist with event and lifestyle photography, as needed.

• Organize and name image files according to established studio workflow standards.

• Maintain photography equipment and studio space to ensure safety and efficiency.

• Contribute to a collaborative, creative, and fast-moving team environment.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a professional studio environment or equivalent.

• Proficiency with Canon camera systems, Capture One, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Bridge, Lightroom).

• Strong understanding of studio lighting, composition, and color correction.

• High attention to detail and ability to follow strict brand guidelines.

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-volume studio setting.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• A passion for fashion photography and compelling visual storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience photographing fashion products or accessories.

• Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems.

• Basic retouching skills are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $65,000 (based on skills, experience, and qualifications)
